آه يا جمر التروي و الوصول
أبجديتنا تفاصيل المعارك
و اقتحام مدينة أخري
و جبهات جديدة

ألف و نون خلف قافيتي
لعل الروعة السمراء
تودي بالقصيدة يا رفيق
سمائي تنتهي بعلاقة مني
و من زبد الشروق
لا رسم في ترانيم المرايا
من افولي فروة زرقاء
حتي استفيق

انتمي لقصيدة أخري
لأيام قرنفلة و أسماء جديدة
انتهي لبعيدة، أجري
لانهار و سنبلة و أرقام عديدة
ارتمي لعنيدة اثري
لاسمال و قنبلة و أحلام سعيدة
أيها الآتون من نصف التهجي و العبور
هذه اللقيا تراتيل و بعض حكايتي قبلة

ساهم مثل آخر طلقة
يستعيد المسافات و الحقب السالفة
يستزيد بحبة قمح و تاريخ أغنية عاطفية
تستحم علي أفق الطلقات و رشق الحبيبة سنبلة قروية
اسم "ساوا" تمطي رمالاُ من المطر الساحلي
يهدهد طفل الشواطئ بالبحر و الزنبقات الطوال
تعالوا نهادن موج التمني
و نكتب أنشودة للعناق نفني
و نفترح الزند نبني
مساحات شعر من البحر و الإنتماء
اسم "آدال" مال احتواني تجاويف مسبية في الغمام
مجاديف قنبلة في هوي الرائعات

بائعات السندس البحري و العبق المغاير
استوينا علي الحريق و أوراق المطر الطريق
سوسنات المحفل القمري و الشبق الدفاتر
انزوينا علي المضيق و أيقظ المدن الشهيق

اسمرا – نوفمبر 1993م

This Eritrean poetry's pamphlet belongs somehow to the Sudanese poetry too. This is why it is here on http://sudanese-poets.blogspot.com. That is mainly because the poet has been a Sudanese national too. I have written this statement because not only my colleague the poet who wrote this poetry but most of my colleagues in the Eritrean media have been born in Sudan where they have lived, educated and graduated.

Abdel-Hakeem Mahmoud El-Sheikh was a journalist and broadcaster in the Eritrean National Radio (Dimtsi Hafash). He was a charm person full of humour and he had so many friends. He joined the Eritrean People's Liberation Front (EPLF) early in his age while he was too young. To be continued …
